The news feed on this site is updated when my availability changes. If you don’t have an immediate need for my services, why not subscribe to this feed so that you are alerted when I am next likely to be available? Subscribe now.
A way of alerting you when something new is added to a Web site — in this case occasional updates on my availability. RSS means ‘Really Simple Syndication’.
Many Web sites have RSS feeds that you can subscribe to, usually indicated by one of these icons, often coloured orange:
![]()
You are alerted when a new item is published on the feed, so you don’t need to revisit the web site to check for updates, and you don’t need to provide your email address either. You can also subscribe to feeds from many sites and read them all together in one place, using your news reader.
You probably already have one - a news reader is included in most Web browsers.
Separate news readers (also known as news aggregators) are available too - see Wikipedia for details.
Click on an RSS link and follow the instructions.
